Dear Sirs:

We beg to enclose herein duly signed Customs form No. C-9 referring to Entry No. 745717 covering four antique frames arrived per S. S. FORT RICHEPANSE on October 18th, 1938.

Two of these frames belong to paintings which have been given us on consignment by French art dealers.  One frame was purchased, together with the painting to which it belongs, in Paris, France in 1937. The fourth frame was bought by us recently in Paris, and we shall endeavor to let you know as soon as possible from whom and on what date.

For your information, we beg to inform you that the pictures for the above frames arrived separately on October 8th per S. S. STATENDAM, Entry No. 742955.
