The following papers were prepared during the year, but not published prior to July 1:-

(1) Description of a new Muscisaxicola from Lake Titicaca, Peru. (1p., M.S; "Proceedings"; handed in June 15.) [[[underlined]] M. occipitale; [[/underlined]] type in National Museum collection.]

(2) [[underlined]] On Phrygilus gayi [[/underlined]] (Eyd & Gerv.) and allied species. (Pp.13 M.S.; "Proceedings"; handed in June 15.) [[[underlined]] P. punensis [[/underlined]], sp. nov., from Lake Titicaca basin; [[underlined]] P. formosus [[/underlined]] [[double underlined]] Gould [[/double underlined]] shown to be distinct from, but [[underlined]] P. aldunatei [[/underlined]] ([[double underlined]] Gay [[/double underlined]] ) identical with P. gayi (Eyd & Gerv).
