Points to be observed in making selection of Indians for exhibition at the Centennial

1st, Select finest looking and cleanest.

2nd, Select those that can speak English.

3rd, Select those of the pleasantest disposition not surly and morose. 

4th, Select the most influential in the tribe, if possible; one whose work carries greatest weight.

5th, Have one man and his wife, the latter well skilled in the household arts and economics

7th, It is especially desirable to have these people bring at least one dog and also one pony
