February 20th 1923

My dear Miss Ackerman,-

Your letter of February 15th from Chicago has just reached me today, before my sailing to-morrow for France.

It gave me much pleasure to read your lines, and especially to realize that you had thought of me, although you were so far away from New York.

I will follow your advice, and have that long and narrow Mille Fleurs tapestry sent to Paris, in order to have it there when [[underlined]] Mrs. C. J. Martin [[/underlined]] comes to look at it, and I am so glad to read that you tried to interest her in Limoges enamel. Indeed, I think that you ought to send a line to Mrs. Martin and give her our Paris address, which is the Ancien Palsis Sagan, 57 rue Saint-Dominique, as there are other firms by the same name.

These lines, I hope, will find you in good health in San Francisco, where I am sure you must "make a big hit"; you deserve it a thousand times.

Do not lose too much time on ultra modern art! When you come to Paris, do let me know right away that you are there, or send me a postal before you sail, because I want to talk to you about a scheme which might interest you very much.

Looking forward to seeing you very soon, pray believe me, with best regards,

Yours sincerely,

N.B.-Permit me to call your attention to the fact that our address in New York is: Fifth Avenue and 55th street. Your letter, which was addressed to Fifth Avenue
