February 20, 1951

Dear Winslow:

It was so very kind of you to write as you did and I wish to thank you for your letter of February 6th.

First let me say now much obliged I am to you for the data on the Chantilly drawings.

They are indeed very close to mine as you so correctly state.

Now as to the first paragraph of your letter I refuse to repeat my whole argument though tempted I may be. Not that I cannot understand your point of view but pride, which is a great quality under certain circumstances and conditions, can no longer be considered as such under others.........
