My dear Mrs. Parker,

Here are the two sculptures for which you asked, "Opus 10" and "Striding Torso". The minimum price for each is

"Opus 10" - $ 185.00 "Striding Torso" - $110.00

"Opus 10" is modeled direct in the firing clay, hence it is not reproduceable and accordingly should be priced higher than "Striding Torso" which is cast terra cotta. Both are treated only with wax, their color being the natural clay.

I am uncertain as to maximum prices for these pieces, so I would rather that you and Mr. Seligman decide and let me know.

If I understand correctly, your firm charges twenty-five percent commision on sales.

I feel you should know that E.Weyhe will show five of my pieces later in the fall.
Also of interest may be the news that I have been invited by the Metropolitan Museum to be one of three sculptors to exhibit in the forthcoming Industrial Arts show, the other sculptors being Lee Lawrie and Paul Jennewein.

I inclose a few catalogues from a recent one-man show in San Francisco, along with a group of criticisms and a copy of The Architect and Engineer containing an article of mine.

The Art Digest reproduced "Opus 10" last year in either the July 1st or 15th issue, from a cut which I own. If you can get them to dig it up you are of course welcome to the use of it.
Prints of the "Striding Torso" will follow under separate cover as they are not ready at this time.

Very earnestly yours,
