My dear Mrs. Parker,

The prices for the sculptures quoted in my letter of August 6th. were intended to be minimum sales rates, and included your commission of 25%. I meant to say however , that if you felt that the pieces would bring higher prices I would of course be very glad. Not knowing what New York prices would be for similar merchandise, I would rather not quote a maximum and let you price them at what you think best, sending me a memorandum of your decision.

Some weeks ago I sent some photos of the "Striding Torso", but I don't find any mention of these in your note of September 28th. If they were lost I could send some more.

You may be interested to know that I am one of three sculptors invited by the Metropolitan Museum to exhibit in the forthcoming American Industrial Arts Exhibition, opening Nov. 3rd. I am sending a terra-cotta group called"Messenger of Death" which will be placed in the room under the supervision of Ely Jacques Kahn. I understand that the other sculptors are to be Lee Lawrie and Paul Jennewein.

With the hope that your American section may fulfill your highest expectations, I am

Sincerely yours,
