Dear Mr. Rosenblum:

You may remember that last November I sent you a short note expressing the great desire I have of making your acquaintance, hoping that you would be able to drop in at my galleries.

You answered me very pleasantly from London that you would be back in New York in late January for the Spring semester. In view of this I assume that you are very busy at present, but nevertheless, it is my hope that before long you may have a few free moments. (My telephone number is: PLaza 300250).

I have nothing special in mind, but being a devoted reader of your books and articles relating to a period of art in which I am much interested, I would enjoy meeting you.

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
