Last winter I leased a large Plantation near Rockingham Richmond county have on it abut 75 persons abut one third laborers I have 12 head of horseys & mules have a fine prospect for a crop but as in the case of my cotton mill I have yoused all my meanes for Supplying my place and I fear I will have to abandon my Farme if So near one hundred Rashings will be cut off and no possible means to Supply them will the Officers furnish persons in my Situation being first Satisfied the Statement be true either by lone or on time for money or the return of Supplies. If I had three hundred bushells corn Fifteen Hundred pounds bacon two hogsheads of Melones, I could work through make my crop and keep up my little cotton mill and Return the whole amount So furnished and interest if Required. I know of manny persons in my Situation and State my own case becaus I prefer doing it to making a
