^[[EB. 32—]]

Respectfully forwarded to Lieut Col [[underlined]] Jacob F. Chur [[/underlined]] A. A A G. for instructions.

The a/c of the Ptffs [[?]] were [[?]] all for labor and it does seem just that they should be paid out of any monies now in the hands of the Sheriff or that may come into his hands hereafter on a/c of the sales of any property of Taylor & Hughes or either of them

While I do not recommend the arrest of the parties within named I would respectfully recommend that power be given me to compel their attendance before me as witnesses, the case being similar in some respects to proceedings in attachments & garnishee process

Transcription Notes:
Ptffs meaning plaintiffs? (Yes.) Also, "garnishes" or "garnishee"? -- Beth "Garnishee" is a legal term that seems to fit this context. Page 17 & 18 are identical. Use Page 17 for finished edits. (I think squiggle next to the word "file" may be a check mark, but am not reopening to make this single change. - Beth)
