Inquires about claim for timber furnished in 1865, at Roanoke Island, N. C., by order of Q. M. Lt. S. Birdsall, amounting to $142.00, as per Certif. of indebtedness signed by Maj. Gosline, of the Bureau. Presented claim by Atty. in June '66, but hears nothing from it.
