Col Bready is crippled in the right arm from a disabling wound and a second attempt might be more successful- It is therefore most earnestly requested, in behalf of Col. Bready and all Officers on duty in the State, that the matter be investigated and the party making the attempt be arrested as the Civil Authorities have been applied to for that purpose and [[underlined]] failed [[/underlined]] to accomplish it
