Sir,

I have the honor to request that you inform this Office, whether any of the following Officers of the 43rd U.S. Infantry, can be spared from duty in your Bureau, in order that those who can be properly relieved may be ordered to join their regiment, the Commanding Officer of which has informed this Office that their presence with it is urgently needed.
