Stayed up home after we came from Kitchens. Mama Came down we went to Grandma's a little while Took her some syrup. She gave us some meat They had just butchered. We had dinner then went to Harners Boys husked corn Ruth has been sick since fire They had Doc Brown Not very serious

Stayed up home last night. Herman came down Boys worked on Ford. I or we all broke the Sabbath. I even baked a cake. It was pretty good. Don't feel so extra I guess I have been eating too much pork. Gee I wish things were different. I am quite blue this Eve. Why oh why could not our Mister have been different so we could at least have confidence
