Men came I called Herman He came I had Mr Clay for dinner Made .50 Also subscribed for [[? Alm]] Farmer for one year for 2 doz eggs. Was tired went to bed early. We had a gallon of syrup this time

Lovely day.
washed a bunch of dishes. W.H. came up to get wheel barrow. Also brought loaf bread and borrowed 1 cake soap. should be ironing I spose. But kinda lazy I guess. Boys checked up on lumber and Mr. Clay was here for dinner I got .50 for it.
