Aid Mr Miesse, Kitchens and Florence. Ava gave Mother a corsage, and Dad a boutonnierre. We had a lovely day in spite of things. There were 75 callers. They received several gifts. Also a 3-way flour sifter, stepins, handkerchiefs, dish, diary, dress, etc. Nice Christmas [[preprinted]] What weapon has the lion but himself. Made a wash ^[[dish]] cloth. Snowed a little late for Christmas tho. Rev. Culler died last Eve.
