Mother peeled tomatoes so I made 7 1/2 qts of [[strikethrough]] soup [[/strikethrough]] juice. Went in town for Pegs Lesson. Took Mrs Lowe a chicken. Hope she likes it. Margarets lesson are paid until Nov. 1

Dinner Day. We had a lovely dinner and a nice day.
Gwynn came home starved and he only had .50- and had to buy B.B.'s dinner.

Pretty day. Did not wash as Barnes were coming after the chickens. There were 90 and weighed 310 lbs. Brought $93.00. Wrote Martins last night.
