D. Day or invasion day of Europe. Everything going to plan and as Churchhill said What a plan!! We listened all day to the Radio The Allies have accomplished a lot.  Have a 50 mile and 12 mile deep wedge Went to Grange Had a real nice time. Clarence paid $13 + for gas. Carol Ann Ewing was born.

Beautiful day but cold. Went in town a little while. Am stretching curtains for upstairs. Went to Hills for council Group 3. Had a lovely time. Nice crowd altho they had several absent. Got our seed corn exchanged. It was $13.90 Mother pd half.
