Kids went to S.S. I wanted to go but saw I could not make it. Took Mother into Lizzie Iricks and then Hattie and I went out to see Nelle Krause who died Sat. a.m. We had planned to go into Lelands for Viola's birthday. Mabel called me there and told me about Joe & Bertha's grandson dying. So Sorry.

Am not washing I guess. They did not bring in the washer. Want to go in town anyway. Mother and I went to the show "Love Letters." Clarence paid Ins. Also sent out auto Ins. Mabel took the flowers to Bertha's daughters. Surely feel sorry for all of them. We went down to Philips Freer and bought an electric churn. 13.00.
