Pumped mud for few minutes with no return of circulation. Decided to pull string & ream hoping debris in reaming will help plug hole - Asked driller to check depth by strapping as he comes out - This done; depth OK. - Built up mud; into hole at close shift (to 940 +/- [Note: Yesterday, acc. to Springer, circulation failed momentarily on several occasions & he was tempted to shut down but each time flow returned HSL] May 17 ~ Sat. 8AM - 4 PM - H S Ladd - out of hole on acct plugged bit 9:45 start back in hole with 12" rock bit to ream 10:25 regained circulation - reaming 12:45 down to 372' 1:45 " " [[ditto for: down to]] 520' 3:15 " " [[ditto for: down to]] 756' - not losing much mud - only what would be expected in reamed hole. 4:15 down to 800 1730 - Plugged bit will necessitate removal of all pipe - Presently down to 905 ft.
