This layer was predicted on basis of Engebi drilling and may be the same as the "Lill layer" of Bikini that is micone [[underlined]] f[[/underlined]] and records a time (late [[underlined]] f [[/underlined]] or early [[underlined]] g [[/underlined]]) when this part of section stood above seal level + corals, etc were dissolved (Miocen [[underlined]] g [[/underlined]] shells above Lill layer were not so altered.) This emergence definitely [[underlined]] not [[/underlined]] assoc. with Peistocene changes of level.
