Angels, Get my Mansion Ready - Concluded

Purer are the joys up yonder than the halls of mirth, Grander are the songs eternal than the songs of earth, Sweeter is the bread of heaven than the honey comb. " Angels, get my mansion ready, I'm coming home."

Tho' a pilgrim I have wandered in the valley here, now into the blessed home-land I'm drawing near, soon amid these scenes of sorrow. I will cease to roam, "angels, get my mansions ready, I'm coming home."

When my work below is ended and my race is run, I'll hear my Savior calling at the set of sun. Then I'll send a message upward, past your vaulted dome. "angels get my mansion ready, I'm coming home!"

Affectionately,
Nellie A. Plummer.

My prayer is that the Union shall live as long as there shall be sick to be cared for and dead to be buried. That our funds and our love and respect for each other shall be graciously nurtured and rigorously guarded.

Nellie A. Plummer,
Aug. 23, 1912
