Respectfully returned to Vt. Lt. Col. [[underlined]] Chur [[/underlined]] A.A.A. Genl with the information.  I have investigated this case at Carthage Moore Co. N.C. and found that [[underlined]] Judson [[/underlined]] within mentioned is living with his father [[underlined]] James Allen [[/underlined]] in Randolph County.  [[underlined]] Annanias [[/underlined]] is working

with [[underlined]] Archibald B. Currie [[/underlined]] of Moore Co. - [[underlined]] Annanias [[/underlined]] informed me that he has to work for his living and prefers to work for [[underlined]] Currie, [[/underlined]] he further stated to me that Currie paid him and his brother what was due them.  He is about 21 yrs of age.  I advised him as he will not work for his Father, to give him part of his wages, as it was his duty to assist his Parents.  [[underlined]] Currie [[/underlined]] stated to me that Col. Cogswell adjudicated his case before.  There is no such record in this office.
