Reports that a great outrage was committed on a Freedman & his family named Garrett, on the 4th of August, near Reidsville, Rockingham Co N. C. by Geo. Windsor John Justice et. al. Gives full particulars & requests that the matter be referred to the Govenor of the State for his action, as he cannot act upon it.
