I worked with Mr Abbott last year for part of the crop and when I moved away he refused to let me have any of my crop and I appealed to the Freedmen Bureau at Greensboro and the case was tried before him and decided that I should have my corn and the Balance of my crop to remain in Mr. Abbotts hands until he sells the Tobacco and settles for what I owe him.
