That's in the shade - referring to the upper right hand corner.

I'm having my troubles with delinquent Hindies now. They refuse to shell and frankly say they'd much prefer to have us pay interest than to do so themselves. I write them a polite chit and ask them to stand by their letter of 'steenth such-and-such a month, and they tear their hair and wail they're insulted. These Eastern ways of shogle are not for one of my limited patience.

Business at last. Bond sent me 42 odd dibs from a blink in Illinois, who wants me to send him some coffee. There will be some five or six dibs "comish," by the time I get through with it. If I could make $1.60 on every [[strikeout]]26[[/strikeout]] 56 lbs. of coffee I'd organize a coffee trust at once, and do nothing myself but count the swag as it rolled in .

Latest,= I made 10 dibs 8 annas on that deal.
