Thank heaven we are going to have a decent ivory shipment this next mail. It's so long since we've had a really decent one that I'd almost forgotten what it seems like. The cornish account will be somewhat down this quarter. 

That chap Pickering, whom I bought those tusks of last July, — the lot he shot in three days - turned up here again today. He just stayed in England about a month, — getting together an outfit, — and us going up country again now. He made a good thing last time, but it's a dangerous game he's playing.
