[[preprinted]] Saturday, April 2, 1910 [[/preprinted]] Well, we had rain during the night,- the first sign of the cool weather. And that reminds me, Ern, that when I left Aden I went out of the cool weather there into the hot season down here, and now I'm doing the same sort of a stunt all over again. This will make my fourth hot season in three years. And I'm beginning to mind 'em now, too. It isn't the same as when a chap comes out from home. After you've been here two years and a half and put in three hot seasons besides, you're somewhat deficient in buck, as it were.
