This is one of Slipp's. It seems that there were one or two gambling patients in the hospital, and the attendants being away, they got up a little game amongst themselves.But then a difficulty arose. They had no chips. No buttons, nor [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] matches. Finally they said they'd have a game, damitall, even if they had to bet their damned medicines. Which they did. The hands were dealt, and the draw was over.

"I bet this box of Beecham's pills," said the opener.

"See you, and raise you a bottle of Castoria",
