First exercise in years, when Weddell and I took ourselves out walking today. On the road we met old Sawbones Spurrier, and went up to his famous shamba, which looked delightfully and enthusiastically punk to my critical eyes.

Weddell came in to grub later, but I couldn't keep awake after ten, so Weddell dusted, and after walking out to the door up at the end of the street, and seeing Cocktail and Bitters after a cat, I clumb upstairs and fell in. "Tired" couldn't describe it.

Those new pajamas are now in course of construction. They're quite nifty. One of 'em is lavender, and I tell you, when I'm flittin' around the Bridal Chamber in that lavender set she will sit up some and take notice, or I miss my guess. Pauline Chase in her pink pants won't have much on my lavender ones.

I never ordered lavender ones, but they sent 'em out, and I'm going to make the best of 'em.
