Gentlemen-

We have Davidass' letter of September 25th, and cables of September 26th and 27th. 

We note sale of 93 bales of Dwight's ex S.S. "MOLKEFELS" to Menahem Messa at Rs140, cash, ex dock, and approve of same. We also note expected arrival of second lot of Shanghai goods from the fact that draft has been presented and accepted by you, in payment, at London, due date October 29th, which will receive protection. As our prior cable to you would show, we are willing to sell on thirty days time to approved buyers- we of course much prefer to sell for cash, but with the goods that we have, we must meet the market, and sell as others do.  This will apply to  Shanghai ^ [goods]as well as it applies to 500 bales of shirtings and drills, and 225 bales of Easley R's, which have been ordered shopped to your port form Zanzibar and Mombasa.

We enclose you documents for shipment of 260 bales of Dwight D's for S.S. "BRAEMAR" sailing today - against these goods, we have drawn at Ninety days in favor of the Chartered Bank, for  £2453.1.10.  These goods are for sale en route or on arrival, and we hope to receive a
