A certain Miss Fine who used to teach at the Brearley School was to tell the girls who wanted to come and hear about the work she was doing amongst the poor of New York. For over a year she has been down there, and although I did not know her at all I thought it would be nice to go.

and could have heard her talk much longer without getting tired. She is much younger than I had supposed
and her front face is decidedly pretty. She has a very agreeable way of talking, and she told us lots of funny little things which had happened.
