Members bringing dogs to the Sports Club Grounds must see that they are chained up either on the owners Gharris or at the place provided by the Committee. A fine of Re. 1 will be exacted for each infringement of this rule. 17. All complaints or suggestions with regard to the Sports Club generally must be addressed to the Honorary Secretary. 18. No alteration of the Club Rules can be made except at a properly constituted General Meeting. 19. (a.) All property of the Club, save and except that property already vested in Trustees on behalf of the Club, shall be vested in the Vice-President, Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Secretary for the time being as Trustees on behalf of the Club. (b.) No property exceeding in value the sum of Rs. 150 can be alienated without the consent of a majority of Members voting at a General Meeting. 20. The name of any member from whom no subscription has become due during 4 consecutive quarters shall be placed upon a list of absent members. 21. Any absent member may within one year of his name being placed on the absent list retain his membership for life by the payment of Rs. 15/- and should he thereafter at any time again become resident he shall be liable to pay the subscription payable under the Rule of the Club then in force. 22. On his failing to pay the said sum of Rs. 15/- within the prescribed time he shall ipso facto cease to be a member and if thereafter re-elected to the Club shall be liable to pay the Entrance fee and subscription for the time being payable under the rules of the Club then in force. Any four players may occupy a Court and shall be entitled to the exclusive use of such Court until all four Courts are in use and in addition four or more players are waiting for a game. 24. At the end of a set on any Court provided all four Courts are in use and four or more players are waiting, the first four of those players to arrive at the Courts shall form a set and take possession of such Court. 25. A complete four cannot select the Court on which they will play but must take the Court on which the first vacancy occurs. In the event of a four not electing to do so they cannot take the second vacant Court but must await a vacancy on the original Court they should have entered. 26. If two persons are playing a single they shall be allowed to finish their set, and thereafter to continue until two or more players are waiting to play on that Court the other Courts being in use. 27. Deuce vantage games can only be played if no complete four is waiting to cut in. RULES FOR CRICKET AND FOOTBALL MEMBERS. 28. The Committee shall be at liberty to elect any person to be a Cricket or Football Member of the Mombasa Sports Club under the following conditions. 29.
