8. A prize of a value not exceeding twenty Rupees shall be given on the 30th June and 31st December in each year to the member who shall have made the best gross score in any four of the monthly medal competitions during the preceeding six months.

9.  The above competitions shall only be open to ordinary members.

10.  No medals will be awarded during any month unless at least three players compete and no Tournament in June and December will be held unless at least eight players compete.

11.  A book shall be kept containing the current handicaps of the members and the results of all competitions.

12.  No Member shall engage a caddie without a badge.

The remuneration of Club Caddies shall be at the rate of 12 pice for 9 holes or less; 16 pice for more than 9 holes up to 13 inclusive; 20 pice for more than 13 holes.

Members having private caddie are requested to apply to Green Committee for a badge to be worn by their caddie when engaged in performing the duties of caddie on the Golf Course.

13.  No lady shall be allowed to play on Competition Days.

14. Every card taken out in a Competition must be returned to the Green Committee for handicapping purposes, irrespective of whether the round be completed or not. Members not complying with this rule may have their handicaps reduced by one. 

15. No private matches shall be allowed on the first day of the monthly medal competition. 

16. The Committee of the Green shall have power to postpone any competition in the event of bad weather or for any other reason which may seem to them sufficient, but unless it is so postponed the competition must proceed.

17. The Green Committee shall consist of the Secretary for Golf and Two Members who shall be nominated by the Committee of the Club. The Green Committee shall have power to fix handicaps, to arrange dates and conditions of competitions (when not otherwise provided for in the Bye-Laws) and to settle any questions that may arise between competitors. 

RULES FOR THE MACKINNON CUP. 

1. The Cup will be played for once each quarter under Club Rules and Bye-Laws. 

2. The Competition will be by medal play over 18 holes and will be limited to handicaps of 12 or under. 

3. The Cup will become the property of the player who wins it the greatest number of times in the course of six years, 

4. The Cup will be deposited at the National Bank and will be insured by the Club. The winner of a competition may remove the Cup on payment of one-fourth of the annual insurance premium but shall return it to the Bank before the date of the next competition; this provision will not, however, take effect until the insurance has been completed. 

5. There will be an entrance fee of Rs. 2. to cover the cost of miniature copies of the Cup which will be presented to each winner.
