Any member remaining in the Club after 1.15 a. m. shall be fined Rs. 2; after 2.15 a. m. Rs. 5 and after 3.15 a. m. Rs 15.

Should no member be using the Club at midnight the Club Steward shall close the premises.

[[bold]]BYE-LAWS.[[/bold]]

1. No notice of any kind shall be posted in the Club except by the authority of the Honorary Secretary but the Hon. Librarian and the Hon. Secretaries of the M'nazi Moja Club may post notices on the boards provided therefor.

2. Dogs and other animals shall only be permitted in the Club in such place as may be provided for them.

Should a dog or other animal be found in any other part of the Club its owner shall be liable to a fine not exceeding Rs. 5.

3. Gambling is strictly prohibited on the Club premises.

4. On all sweepstakes collected by the Club, 10% of the gross amount collected shall be paid to the Club funds.

The terms and conditions of all sweepstakes shall be clearly and fully stated.

5. All complaints to the Hon. Secretary shall be entered in a book to be kept for that purpose.

6. Any breakage of glassware, crockery etc. or injury to the Club property etc. shall be paid for by the person breaking or injuring the same.

7. No member shall personally find fault with the servants but should there be cause for complaint it should be reported at once to the Superintendant or by letter to the Hon. Secretary.

8. The Rules and Bye-Laws of the Club shall be printed and a copy of these shall be delivered to each member of the Club.

9. Except with the consent of the Committee no gratuity shall be offered to any servant of the Club.

10. No member shall attempt to induce any servant of the Club to leave its service.

11. Cash advances to any member shall not exceed Rs. 15 in any one month.

12. Ladies shall be permitted to use such parts of the Club premises as the Committee may from time to time sanction, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

  They may be entertained by members at luncheon on any day of the week and at dinner on any night of the week on 24 hours notice in writing being given to the Honorary Secretary.

13. No natives, except servants of members shall be admitted into the Club premises.

14.  The servants of members when on the Club premises must obey any order given by the Club Steward or Hon. Secretary.
