the plaque published - but possibly you know of some publication - nor have I seen the Le Puy châsse reproduced. I thought that, with your permission, it might be interesting to draw up a short note on this châsse and publish it in the Fogg Museum Bulletin with reproductions of its four sides, including your plaque.

In many ways I regret that my work on material in the Museo Cristiano of the Vatican at present keeps me in Italy (Florence and Rome) at this time when Mr. Paul Sachs is to be lecturing in London and Paris. I spent last summer at the Sorbonne and I hope to return to Paris before sailing home in February, so I may yet have the opportunity of seeing Professor Sachs, to whom I feel much indebted for several valuable courses at Harvard last year.
