Dear Germain:

As you have no doubt already heard from Kopald, I have finally decided to do nothing about disposing of any of my pictures, even though as you know such a plan had entirely been based upon advice given me by Henry Moses. All these things form so much a part of my life that I just cannot make up my mind to do anything about it along the lines we had discussed when you so kindly called upon me.

My only regret is that I may have wasted some of your time, and for that I sincerely apologize.

With kindest regards, and hoping we may meet soon, believe me,

Sincerely yours,
