Dear Mr. Baderou:

When I purchased from you last spring the La Hyre drawing representing "La Dialectique," you were good enough to tell me that you would let me have a photostat of the engraving as well as giving me the present whereabouts of the painting. Didn't you say that to your knowledge the painting was somewhere in Germany?

For the completion of my records, I would be much obliged to you were you able to forward to me such data.

Thanking you in advance, and with best regards,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
