November 23, 1955

Dear Mr. Baderou:

Answering your note of November 21st just received, let me advise you that by same mail I am requesting Maître Legrain to send you a check of 70,000 Francs (Seventy-thousand Francs) in full payment of the drawing by Pajou and I would be obliged to you for acknowledgement of this sum as soon as you will have received it. Will you be good enough to keep the drawing until I am back in Paris.

I think that it would be wise to keep an exact record of this transaction with the number of the check, etc. so that when the time comes to export it there will be no difficulties.

As I wrote you previously I have never received the letter you wrote you sent to me earlier. May I ask you to be so kind as to look up the Pontremoli reference, I gave you in connection with the Cambiaso drawing as of course I am anxious to identify it, were it possible.

With best wishes,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
