March 6, 1950

Dear Mr. Cintas:

It was very pleasant indeed to receive your telephone call on Saturday, for which I thank you.

I have already tried to contact the owner of the MURILLO painting. The latter, however, is out of town but should be back by tomorrow, Tuesday evening March 7th. This should enable me to call you up on Wednesday or Thursday at the latest in order to make an appointment for showing you this painting.

The purpose of these lines is merely to explain this seeming delay.

Yours very sincerely,
(Germain Seligman)
