Dear Mr. Clark:

It is a very long time indeed since I have had the pleasure of seeing you, and I am writing in connection with a few paintings and drawings which I purchased recently.

Remembering that you are an early riser, I was wondering whether it would be agreeable to you if I brought three or four of them to your apartment early some morning?

May I call you within the next few days to inquire whether this would be convenient?

Among the drawings and paintings which I am anxious to show you is a very exceptional French 18th. century drawing, and a small but jewel-like Corot of the Rome Period.

Asking you to be good enough to convey my respects to Mrs. Clark, and looking forward to seeing you soon,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
