Dear Mrs. Frick,

I believe it was just about this time last year that you called in to see us and I was hoping to have the pleasure of your visit in Paris last summer, but apparently you did not get over there.

I am just writing to you these few lines to tell you that we have recently acquired two very important 18th century English portraits from the famous Sackville Collection at Knole, England. One is a superb portrait by GAINSBOROUGH, and the other is a portrait by Ozias HUMPHREY which is looked upon as being his masterpiece.

It occurred to me that perhaps you might like to see these and I would therefore be delighted to show them to you at any time you could conveniently call in.

Looking forward, therefore, to the pleasure of your visit, believe me to be

Yours very truly,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., Inc.,
