Dear Mrs. Frick:

Knowing of your interest for French paintings, we are writing you this letter to tell you that we have just acquired a very fine group of paintings of this School, among which are two very important large up-right pictures by HUBERT ROBERT, and several other paintings of smaller dimensions.

We have likewise just acquired one of the greatest 18th CENTURY ENGLISH paintings that has ever come to this country, and which comes from one of the most important collections in England.

We should very much like to have the pleasure of showing you these things, and hope the next time you are in this neighborhood you will call in

Very truly yours,
