Dear Mrs. Lloyd:

We have recently received a very important group of paintings which I should like to show you.

In this group is a very lovely Pink dancer by Degas. When I showed it to Mr. Edmiston a few days ago, he told me that it was just the picture for you. Besides, we have a number of other things which I should also like to show you.

Mr. Edmiston told me that you always stopped at the Ambassador, but I believe he made a mistake. If you would be kind enough to drop me a line telling me where I could get in touch with you when you come to New York, I would be very glad to do so, providing it were agreeable to you.

In any case, I hope to have the pleasure of your visit when you next are in New York.

Kindly believe me

Respectfully yours,

(René Seligmann)
