September 10, 1957

Dear Mr. Sciolette,

It was so very pleasant to receive your short note of September 27th.

The copies of "Connaissance des Arts" are forwarded to New York by ship, thus mine has not yet reached me. It should arrive shortly however, and I would be much interested to read the article you refer to.

It is good of you to inquire when I expect to be in Paris so that we shall not miss each other. Having only just now returned to New York, I am unable to set any such time but I do know that it will not be before the second week of October. Whether I will go then is still quite doubtful.

Hoping you have had a restful summer and asking you to pay my respects to Madame Sciolette, and with best personal regards,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
