December 29th, 1932.

Mr. C. Clyfford Trevor
c/o J. Seligmann & Co. Inc.,
New York, N.Y.

My dear Mr. Trevor:-

Mrs. Fleischmann called me up yesterday evening and told me you had wired her asking for the insurance data on the tapestries. She very naturally knew nothing about what the tapestries were insured for and consequently was obliged to refer the matter to me.

I have wired you as follows -

"Replying your message to Mrs. Fleischmann Flemish Gothic eleven two by eight six insured twenty thousand. Renaissance eleven six by eight six twelve thousand. Flemish eight six by twelve eightyfive hundred. Choufleur eight thousand."

In my previous message to you requesting that you insure these tapestries in transit, I did not give you our insurance figures because I thought you being familiar with the tapestries should know how much insurance to place on them. I regret if my failure to give you this information inconvenienced you in any way.

Very truly yours,
