Dear Mrs. Guggenheim,

Upon your request, I take the pleasure of sending you with these lines the two small wood sculptures, which you had seen here at the Galleries sometime ago.

The two figures are French work of the beginning of the 18th Century; the price quoted to you $3000.00.

I trust this will meet with your approval and looking forward to your favorable reply, I remain, dear Mrs. Guggenheim, with my kindest regards

Yours faithfully,

(R. H. Waegen)
