March 28th, 1929.

Dear Mr. Finley:

Before leaving these shores, I want again to thank you for your great courtesy and the kind interest you have taken in the Lawrence, "Portrait of Prince Metternich".

It was indeed a great pleasure for me to meet you and I do hope it won't be long before I shall have another opportunity of seeing you in France.

Thanks to your kind introduction, I had a most delightful visit at Mr. Mellon's home, and I am writing him a few lines of appreciation.

Believe me to be,
Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligmann)
