Dear Mr. Rockefeller:

^[[checkmark]]

You will perhaps remember that last Spring when I corresponded with you about some important items which we had just purchased, you were on the point of going South and that before you returned I was compelled to leave for Europe. I was very sorry not to have had that opportunity of seeing you.

I have recently returned to America and have brought over some exceptional works of art, among which are two extremely important Eighteenth Century English paintings and one early and important French Gothic tapestry.

It would afford me a great deal of pleasure if you could grant me a few moments time to give you fuller particulars of these different items, which I am sure you would be interested in seeing. They are all of great quality and each of them can rank with the finest known of it's type.

Asking you to kindly remember me to Mrs. Rockefeller and looking forward to hearing from you,

Believe me to be,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligmann)
