by Mr K. T. PARKER, Curator of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, in collaboration with Mr. Jacques MATHEY, in two volumes, format in-4 including a general preface by Mr. K. T. PARKER, followed by studies on Watteau's methods of drawing by Mr. J. MATHEY, classifying the master's work in the field of drawing, detailed notes concerning each drawing (title, paper quality, dimensions, copies and engravings, exhibitions, sales, historical data, present ownership), also tables and index of names, objects and localization of the drawings.  Their number is about 900; they will be reproduced in phototype : partly full page, partly grouped and reproduced on the scale of their original size.
